Raw Cacao Peppermint Bliss Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup medjool dates
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/3 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1/3 cup shredded coconut
  • 2 TBSP coconut oil
  • 1 drop peppermint oil (optional)

Preparation

  1. Soak the dates in hot water for 10 minutes.

  2. While the dates are soaking, add walnuts and almonds to a food processor and finely grind them.

  3. Add the soaked dates and remaining ingredients to the ground nuts and blend until well combined and the consistency is doughy.

  4. Roll the dough into balls and sprinkle with your favorite toppings or have them plain.

  5. Enjoy them right away or refrigerate for firmer balls.
