Easy Vegan Naan Bread
Ingredients
- 260g thick coconut yogurt (or any thick vegan yogurt)
- 250g self rising flour (gluten free or regular)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
Toppings
- garlic infused oil
- fresh coriander
- salt
Preparation
Add all ingredients into a bowl and mix together with a spatula, then use hands to form a ball.
Knead the dough briefly until smooth and combined, adding flour if sticky.
Cut the dough into 3 pieces.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to just over 0.5cm thick in a naan shape.
Heat a frying pan without oil.
Place the rolled dough in the pan and cook on one side for a few minutes until it puffs up.
Flip the naan and cook the other side until golden brown.
Brush with garlic oil, add chopped fresh coriander and a little salt.
Repeat the process for the remaining naans.
