Simple Chicken Dumpling Soup

Ingredients

Dumpling

  • Wonton wrappers as needed
  • 200g ground chicken fillet
  • 5 tablespoons sago flour
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Stock powder to taste
  • Pepper powder to taste

Soup

  • Chicken stock as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Stock powder to taste
  • Green onion, sliced for garnish

Preparation

  1. Mix ground chicken with sago flour, all-purpose flour, egg, and season with salt, sugar, and stock powder. Stir well, then add sliced green onion and mix again.

  2. Place 1 tablespoon of the mixture into a wonton wrapper, fold and pleat it, and repeat until all mixture is used.

  3. Bring the stock to a boil, season with salt, pepper, and stock powder. Add the chicken dumplings and cook until done, then sprinkle with green onion.

Serving suggestions

  1. Serve with chili sauce.
