Simple Chicken Dumpling Soup
Ingredients
Dumpling
- Wonton wrappers as needed
- 200g ground chicken fillet
- 5 tablespoons sago flour
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 green onion, sliced
- Salt to taste
- Sugar to taste
- Stock powder to taste
- Pepper powder to taste
Soup
- Chicken stock as needed
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Stock powder to taste
- Green onion, sliced for garnish
Preparation
Mix ground chicken with sago flour, all-purpose flour, egg, and season with salt, sugar, and stock powder. Stir well, then add sliced green onion and mix again.
Place 1 tablespoon of the mixture into a wonton wrapper, fold and pleat it, and repeat until all mixture is used.
Bring the stock to a boil, season with salt, pepper, and stock powder. Add the chicken dumplings and cook until done, then sprinkle with green onion.
Serving suggestions
Serve with chili sauce.
