Tuna and Spinach Pinwheels

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of ready rolled puff pastry
  • 1 tin of tuna (in spring water)
  • Large handful of spinach
  • Grated cheddar cheese
  • 3 heaped tbsps of cream cheese

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees (fan) and take the pastry out of the fridge 15 minutes before baking.

  2. Wash and dry the spinach. Chop it finely and mix with the cream cheese.

  3. Unroll the pastry and spread with a thin layer of the spinach cream cheese.

  4. Drain the tuna and sprinkle over the top. Then sprinkle with grated cheddar.

  5. Roll up from the long edge. Cut the roll into 16 thin slices and space out on two lined baking trays.

  6. Bake for approx 25 minutes until golden brown on both sides.

Tips

  1. Don’t roll the pastry up too tight, otherwise the middle struggles to cook through.
