Crispy Tofu and Cheddar Fritters
Ingredients
- 1 block (300g) Japanese silken tofu
- 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon chicken broth powder
- 50 grams grated cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil (for frying)
Preparation
Drain the tofu until no water remains and mash by hand
Add the flour, chicken broth powder, and grated cheddar cheese, then mix well
Grease a flat pan with oil and heat over medium heat
Using an ice cream scoop, portion the batter, flatten, and cook each side for 2 minutes or until cooked through. Remove and serve
