Vegan Chocolate Tofu Donuts

Ingredients

  • 250 grams silken tofu
  • 20 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 5 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Toppings

  • Chocolate, meises, or oreo crumbs for topping (optional)

Preparation

  1. Crush the tofu.

  2. Add the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder.

  3. Mix all ingredients together.

  4. Shape the dough into donut forms.

  5. Bake in a stove oven for about 20 minutes on a greased baking sheet.

  6. Perform a toothpick test; if it comes out clean, remove from oven.

  7. Add desired toppings.

Tips

  1. For a sweeter version, add sugar or sweetened condensed milk to the dough before baking.
