Marbled Cake with Chocolate Swirls

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 200 ml milk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder

Preparation

  1. Beat eggs, sugar, and butter with a whisk for 2 minutes

  2. Add sunflower oil and milk, then gradually add flour and baking powder, mixing until well combined

  3. Divide the batter into two equal parts

  4. Stir cocoa powder into one part until well combined

  5. Pour a layer of plain batter into a greased and floured pan

  6. Top with the chocolate batter

  7. Gently swirl the batters together with a fork

  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
