Homemade Vegan Mars Bars Treats

Ingredients

Nougat

  • 1 cup cashews
  • 4 tbsp coconut cream
  • 5 tbsp maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp coconut flour
  • 3 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Caramel

  • 1 cup dates
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp coconut cream
  • Pinch of salt

Chocolate coating

  • 100g chocolate bar
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

Preparation

  1. Soak the cashews in hot water for half an hour.

  2. Blend all the nougat ingredients together and pour into a small container lined with parchment paper.

  3. Place in the freezer for one hour.

  4. Soak the dates in hot water for half an hour.

  5. Blend the dates with the rest of the caramel ingredients.

  6. Spread the caramel on top of the nougat and place in the freezer for a few hours.

  7. Remove the mars slab from the freezer and cut into bars.

  8. Melt one bar of chocolate with 2 tbsp coconut oil.

  9. Dip each bar in the melted chocolate using a fork, coating all sides.

  10. Place in the fridge to set and enjoy.
