Vegan No-Bake Milky Way Bars
Ingredients
Nougat layer
- 12–14 dates
- 1 tbsp cacao
- 2-3 tbsp melted coconut oil
- 1/4 cup oat flour
- 1/4 cup almond flour
Caramel layer
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate layer
- 1/4 cup cacao
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
First make the nougat layer. Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor until a paste forms. Press the paste into a flat layer in a lined or silicone loaf pan. Set aside in the freezer.
Next make the caramel layer. Melt all ingredients over medium heat until melted. Stir to combine. Pour over nougat layer and freeze for 1 hour.
After the first two layers are done freezing, make the chocolate layer. Melt all chocolate ingredients over medium heat until melted. Stir to combine. Pour chocolate layer over the first two layers.
Freeze for 30 minutes to 1 hour or until chocolate is set. Cut into squares and enjoy.
Storage tips
These can be stored in the fridge for several days or in the freezer for months.
