Beef Steak Wrapped in Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 500 grams beef steak
  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup broth

Preparation

  1. Sprinkle some salt and pepper on the steak pieces and set aside.

  2. In a wide pan, heat the oil and butter, add the onion and stir until wilted, then add the garlic, peppers, mushrooms, salt, and black pepper, and stir for a minute.

  3. Take a piece of steak, add some of the mixture, roll it up, and secure the edges with a small wooden stick.

  4. In the same pan, sear the steak rolls, add a little oil if needed, flip until golden brown, then remove and set aside.

  5. Add the flour and stir for a few seconds, then add the broth, vinegar, salt, and black pepper, and stir until thickened.

  6. Return the meat to the pan and cook for 10 minutes.

  7. Place on a serving plate and serve with rice.
