Beef Steak Wrapped in Vegetables
Ingredients
- 500 grams beef steak
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 medium red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup broth
Preparation
Sprinkle some salt and pepper on the steak pieces and set aside.
In a wide pan, heat the oil and butter, add the onion and stir until wilted, then add the garlic, peppers, mushrooms, salt, and black pepper, and stir for a minute.
Take a piece of steak, add some of the mixture, roll it up, and secure the edges with a small wooden stick.
In the same pan, sear the steak rolls, add a little oil if needed, flip until golden brown, then remove and set aside.
Add the flour and stir for a few seconds, then add the broth, vinegar, salt, and black pepper, and stir until thickened.
Return the meat to the pan and cook for 10 minutes.
Place on a serving plate and serve with rice.
