Grilled Kofta with Bell Peppers and Onions

Ingredients

  • 500 grams kofta
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium yellow bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 2 sprigs thyme or rosemary
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Shape the kofta into medium-sized patties.

  2. Heat a grill pan and cook the kofta patties until the color changes, then remove them from the pan.

  3. In the same pan, add the green and yellow bell peppers, onion, cherry tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and rosemary, and grill the vegetables in the fat from the kofta.

  4. Place a metal rack on the pan, put the kofta patties on the rack, cover the pan, and let them cook until fully done.

  5. On a serving plate, arrange the kofta and grilled vegetables, and serve hot.
