5-Minute Microwave Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee powder
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1/2 cup odorless oil
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 200 grams dark chocolate
  • 100 grams fresh cream
  • 12-15 strawberries
  • 8-10 blueberries

Preparation

  1. Take a mixing bowl for dry ingredients

  2. Add 2 cups all-purpose flour

  3. Add 2 teaspoons baking powder

  4. Add 1 teaspoon instant coffee powder

  5. Add 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder and mix it

  6. Take another mixing bowl for wet ingredients

  7. Add 3/4 cup caster sugar

  8. Add 1/2 cup odorless oil and mix it well

  9. Strain and add dry ingredients gradually into wet ingredients

  10. Whisk well to avoid getting lumps

  11. Take a microwave-safe plate or tray

  12. Grease with oil and place a parchment paper in it

  13. Microwave for 5 minutes

  14. Let the cake rest for 10 minutes

  15. Melt 200 grams dark chocolate

  16. Mix 100 grams fresh cream with melted chocolate to make ganache

  17. Demold the cake into the plate

  18. Pour ganache in a piping bag

  19. Spread it on the cake by making circular design

  20. Decorate the cake with strawberries and blueberries

  21. Top with a mint leaf

  22. Enjoy the cake
