Chai Spiced Oatmeal with Almonds & Maple Syrup
Ingredients

- 1 cup oats (gluten free if needed)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1,5 cups water⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1 tsp cinnamon⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1 tsp cardamom⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1 tsp dried ginger powder⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 0,5 tsp ground cloves⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 2 tbsp slivered or chopped almonds⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 2 tbsp maple syrup⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- a splash of coconut milk to serve⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Preparation
Optional toppings: sliced plums and black grapes, quinoa puffs (I used @gogoquinoa ), edible violets and an extra dash of cinnamon.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Cook the oats and water for a few minutes together with the spices until you reach desired consistency.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Pour into your fav bowl, top with almonds and drizzle over the maple syrup.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Serve with coconut milk and optional other toppings! (Because toppings = ?????!!!)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
