Chickpea Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Garam massala
  • 1 tsp coriander in powder
  • 1 turmeric
  • salt
  • 1 small bunch of coriander
  • 2 tomatoes finely diced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil or coconut oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 3 cm grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cups cooked chickpeas
  • 150 ml coconut milk

Preparation

  1. Heat the oil, caramelise the onion and garlic, add salt and spices and cook them all for 1 minute

  2. Add the tomatoes and coconut milk and simmer for a few minutes, then add the chickpeas and simmer for about 10 minutes

  3. Serve with rice
