Manchester Tart for Breakfast
Ingredients
- 40g @grapenuts_uk (b)
- 2 tbsp @nkdliving erythritol granulated (1)
- vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- 1.5 tbsp hot water
- 6 tsp @hartleysfruit raspberry jam (3)
- whisk 2 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp @nkdliving erythritol granulated (1)
- add 150ml milk (part a)
- tbsp cornflour (1)
- glacé cherry (1) (check if your veggie as some are not suitable)
- 3g @sainsburys desiccated coconut(1)
Preparation
Blitzed into fine crumb
All mixed and pressed into 12
Cm flan/tart mould
Over with clingfilm and microwave for 1 minute, remove and mix well. Microwave another minute. Mix until smooth and glossy. Times may vary
Pour into case
Baked for 5 minutes at 180c then added
Glacé cherry (1) (check if your veggie as some are not suitable)
Baked a further 5 minutes until coconut starts to brown and is nicely toasted
