Oatmeal Breakfast Bowl with Cinnamon and Apples

Ingredients

  • 60 g oats
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 apple, grated
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 240 ml oatmylk
  • 120 ml water
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup (optional)

Topping

  • 1 apple
  • 1 handful of walnuts
  • 1 tsp of coconut oil
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Add all oatmeal ingredients except maple syrup to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and let simmer while stirring frequently until creamy. Add maple syrup and a little more liquid if necessary.

  2. For the fried apples, heat coconut oil in a pan. Add apple pieces and fry for 2 min. Add maple syrup and cook until apple pieces are soft, stir in the walnuts in the last minute.
