Oatmeal Breakfast Bowl with Cinnamon and Apples
Ingredients
- 60 g oats
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 apple, grated
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 240 ml oatmylk
- 120 ml water
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup (optional)
Topping
- 1 apple
- 1 handful of walnuts
- 1 tsp of coconut oil
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
Preparation
Add all oatmeal ingredients except maple syrup to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and let simmer while stirring frequently until creamy. Add maple syrup and a little more liquid if necessary.
For the fried apples, heat coconut oil in a pan. Add apple pieces and fry for 2 min. Add maple syrup and cook until apple pieces are soft, stir in the walnuts in the last minute.
