Vegan Oatmeal Bowl with Fresh Fruits

Ingredients

  • 5 grain cereal (combination of oats, rye, triticale, barley and golden flax)
  • cinnamon
  • allspice
  • cloves

Toppings

  • Cherries
  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries
  • Kiwi
  • Pepitas
  • Plain yogurt
  • Maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Cook the 5 grain cereal according to package instructions using water or a plant-based milk

  2. Add cinnamon, allspice, and cloves to the cereal during cooking for flavor, or stir in after cooking

  3. Once the cereal is cooked and cooled slightly, top with cherries, blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, pepitas, plain yogurt, and drizzle with maple syrup
