Hibiscus Tea Infused Oatmeal with Spices
Ingredients
- 1 cup organic rolled oats
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 8 dried dark cherries
- 1 teaspoon garnet elderberry supercolor powder
- 1 1/2 cups hibiscus brewed tea
Toppings
- blueberries
- figs
- cherries
- pecans
- puffed millet
Preparation
Brew 2 tablespoons of hibiscus tea. You can brew it the night before and enjoy a cup at bedtime.
Pour the tea into a saucepan, add all the ingredients, stir to combine well, and slow cook to your desired consistency. I prefer mine thick.
