Apple Pie Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 2 cups dairy-free milk,
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of nutmeg, ground ginger, and salt
- 1 tsp maple syrup, add more for a sweeter oatmeal
Preparation
Combine the oats, milk, and salt in a microwave safe bowl
Microwave for 1 minute
Take bowl out and add cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, applesauce, maple syrup, and stir
Place oats back in the microwave and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes or until completely cooked
Top with almond butter, chopped pecans, maple syrup, cinnamon, and fried apples
