Apple Pie Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 2 cups dairy-free milk,
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of nutmeg, ground ginger, and salt
  • 1 tsp maple syrup, add more for a sweeter oatmeal

Preparation

  1. Combine the oats, milk, and salt in a microwave safe bowl

  2. Microwave for 1 minute

  3. Take bowl out and add cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, applesauce, maple syrup, and stir

  4. Place oats back in the microwave and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes or until completely cooked

  5. Top with almond butter, chopped pecans, maple syrup, cinnamon, and fried apples
