Bulgur Nasi Goreng Style
Ingredients
- 1 cup bulgur
- 1 zucchini
- 2 tomatoes
- 3 carrots
- 1/2 cucumber
- 2-3 spring onions
- lemon zest
- Nasi Goreng spice mixture from Knorr
Preparation
Bring the bulgur to a boil with 2 cups of water, reduce the heat to a minimum, cover with a lid, and let it steam until softened.
While the bulgur is cooking, chop the vegetables finely and place them in a large bowl. Note that carrots can be chopped differently if using a grater.
Mix the cooked bulgur with the chopped vegetables in the bowl.
In a separate glass or container, mix the Nasi Goreng spice mixture with 150 mL of water.
Add the spice mixture to the bulgur and vegetable mixture, and stir well to combine.
Garnish the dish with additional spring onions and lemon zest for extra flavor.
Feel free to add or exchange any vegetables to customize the dish.
