Ferrero Rocher Protein Bliss Balls
Ingredients
Filling
- Peanut butter
- 3 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 2 scoops brown rice plant protein
Coating
- Vegan chocolate
- Coconut oil
- Quinoa
Preparation
Mix in 3 tablespoons of chia seeds into your peanut butter, followed by adding about 1/3 cup of your syrup.
Then add in 2 scoops of protein powder and slowly add in water as needed for the mixture to remain easy enough to blend.
Mix until the mixture is smooth and sticky enough to roll into balls. Leave the balls in the fridge to set whilst preparing your coating.
Then to make your coating, melt your chocolate into a mixing bowl with coconut oil. Add in your quinoa and keep stirring until your mix is smooth and silky.
Place your peanut butter protein balls on an icing tray and drizzle your chocolate over in a nice thick coating.
Sprinkle another layer of quinoa over the top to give them a really nice and crunchy texture.
Leave them in the fridge to set for a couple of hours before serving and enjoying them.
Notes
Quinoa is a complete protein containing all nine essential amino acids and is rich in iron and lysine, essential for tissue growth and repair.
