Peanut Butter Filled Energy Balls

Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 50 grams oats
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon coconut shreds

Preparation

  1. Add 4 tablespoons of peanut butter to parchment paper and freeze for 2 hours. Roll them into small balls and freeze for another 4 hours.

  2. Mix all the other ingredients together, make 4 dough patties and fill the balls with the peanut butter.

  3. Set in the freezer for another 15 minutes. Enjoy!

Tips

  1. If no banana is available, substitute with 1.5 tablespoons of maple syrup.

  2. Add more maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter taste.

  3. Peanuts are a healthy, low FODMAP, high-protein option and provide various nutrients such as vitamin E, niacin, folate, protein, and manganese.
