Easy Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3 heaped tablespoons oats, blended
  • 2 tablespoons maple or golden syrup
  • 1 heaped tablespoon peanut butter
  • A few chunks of chocolate

Preparation

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 200 fan/ 425 Fahrenheit/ gas mark 7.

  2. Blitz oats roughly in a blender so they resemble flour.

  3. Put oats, syrup and peanut butter in a bowl and stir until they clump together.

  4. Use your hands to roll up three balls.

  5. Squish them slightly onto a baking tray, pressing in a chunk of chocolate on the top of each.

  6. Oven bake for 15 minutes until golden.

Tips

  1. For gluten-free version, use gluten-free oats.

  2. For vegan version, use dark chocolate.
