Easy Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies
Ingredients
- 3 heaped tablespoons oats, blended
- 2 tablespoons maple or golden syrup
- 1 heaped tablespoon peanut butter
- A few chunks of chocolate
Preparation
Pre-heat your oven to 200 fan/ 425 Fahrenheit/ gas mark 7.
Blitz oats roughly in a blender so they resemble flour.
Put oats, syrup and peanut butter in a bowl and stir until they clump together.
Use your hands to roll up three balls.
Squish them slightly onto a baking tray, pressing in a chunk of chocolate on the top of each.
Oven bake for 15 minutes until golden.
Tips
For gluten-free version, use gluten-free oats.
For vegan version, use dark chocolate.
