Homemade Vegan Twix Cookies
Ingredients
Cookie layer
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup gluten free flour
Caramel layer
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
Chocolate layer
- 1 cup vegan melted chocolate
Preparation
Mix the cookie layer ingredients together.
Roll the mixture into balls and flatten them on a lined baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 minutes.
Mix the caramel layer ingredients and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Roll the caramel mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on top of the cooled cookies.
Dip the cookie and caramel layers into the melted chocolate.
Let the chocolate harden before serving.
Tips
Make sure to flatten the cookies before baking.
