Fudgy, Intense and Addictive Chocolate Coffee Brownies

Ingredients

  • Recipe for 16 squares
  • * 3 tbsp instant coffee Nescafé gold bio * 2 tbsp almond milk
  • * 1/2 cup coconut sugar * 1/4 cup maple syrup * 1/4 cup organic sunflower oil
  • * 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • * 2 flax eggs * 1 cup almonds, ground
  • * 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • * 1 tsp baking soda + 1 tsp lemon juice
  • * Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (390°F). In a small bowl, dilute the coffee with the milk. In a large mixing bowl, combine coffee, sugar, maple syrup, oil, vanilla extract and whisk well. Add eggs and whisk once more until combined. Then add dry ingredients and mix to combine

  2. Transfer the batter to a parchment lined 20cm (8x8 inch) baking pan and spread into an even layer with a rubber spatula. Bake for 20 minutes. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares. Enjoy with your favorite coffee
