Simple Passion Fruit Cake with Condensed Milk Glaze
Ingredients
Cake batter
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 package passion fruit gelatin
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Topping
- 1 cup pure passion fruit juice
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
Preparation
In a bowl, add the eggs and sugar and beat with a wire whisk until well mixed
Next, add the oil and passion fruit gelatin and mix well
Add the milk, mix, and add all the flour
Finally, add the baking powder and mix gently until well incorporated
Pour the batter into a greased and floured 25 cm diameter pan
Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for about 40 minutes
Topping
In a bowl, combine the passion fruit juice and sweetened condensed milk
Mix well until creamy
Pour the topping over the cake
Tip
To make the cake even more beautiful, cook the pulp of 1 passion fruit with 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water and pour it over the topping
