Spicy Prawn Curry with Tomato Puree and Roti
Ingredients

- Prawns
- Onions
- Tomatoes
- Green chillies
- Garlic
- 1/2 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 tablespoon meat masala
- 1/2 tablespoon red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- Water
Preparation
Add oil and fry prawns for 2 minutes, then remove from cooker.
Cut onions into cubic pieces and fry until lightly brown.
Grind tomatoes, green chillies, and garlic to make tomato puree.
Add tomato puree to cooker with spices: 1/2 tablespoon coriander powder, 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder, 1/2 tablespoon meat masala, 1/2 tablespoon red chilli powder, and salt to taste, then stir well.
Add prawns back to cooker, add water, close cooker, and cook for one whistle.
Serve with tawa roti.
