Vegetarian Sausage Beans Cheese Pastry
Ingredients
- Jus-Rol puff pastry
- One-third of a tin of Sainsbury's baked beans
- Meat-free sausages
- 20g Pilgrims Choice mature cheddar cheese
- Egg (for brushing)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Roll out the puff pastry sheet.
Fill the pastry with a mixture of one-third of a tin of baked beans, sliced meat-free sausages, and 20g cubed mature cheddar cheese.
Top the pastry and brush with beaten egg.
Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden and puffed.
Notes
This recipe is inspired by the Greggs vegan version but is vegetarian. For a vegan alternative, refer to Greggs.
Red onion and radishes can be served as a side garnish if desired.
Use up leftover pastry by freezing it for later use.
