Easy Lemonade Scones

Ingredients

  • 150g self raising flour (i use gf)
  • 2 tbsp (50g) thick vanilla yoghurt, plus extra for brushing (i use soya)
  • 7 tbsp flavoured sparking water or lemonade

Preparation

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180c, 350f, gas mark 4

  2. Put all of the ingredients into a bowl and stir with a spoon until the mixture becomes a dough consistency

  3. Flatten out onto a floured surface and use the rim of a glass to cut out three thick circles

  4. Place them on a baking tray and brush with some extra yoghurt

  5. Oven bake for 12 minutes

  6. Serve warm

  8. Instead of using shop bought jam and clotted cream, top scones with leftover yoghurt and a homemade warm berry compote
