Korean BBQ Inspired Bowl

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup tamari
  • 3/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water (for cornstarch slurry)

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients except the cornstarch slurry.

  2. Heat the mixture on medium high until boiling.

  3. Add the cornstarch slurry and whisk until thickened.

  4. Remove from heat and enjoy.
