Bang Bang Shrimp
Ingredients
- 1 lb raw medium or large shrimp
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup coconut flour
- 1/3 cup tapioca flour
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Sauce
- 1/2 cup paleo mayonnaise
- 2 tsp sriracha
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic
- Sprinkle of salt
Preparation
In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg
In another shallow bowl, mix the flours, garlic, and salt together
Dip the shrimp in the egg them the flour mixture
I did multiple shrimp at once
Heat a skillet over low medium heat
Add a generous amount of oil
I used avocado oil
Then add the shrimp
I did two batches
Cook for 3-4 minutes, flip, add a little more oil and cook until they’re browned
Add to a bowl and let them cool for a few minutes
