Bang Bang Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 lb raw medium or large shrimp
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup coconut flour
  • 1/3 cup tapioca flour
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Sauce
  • 1/2 cup paleo mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp sriracha
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • Sprinkle of salt

Preparation

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg

  2. In another shallow bowl, mix the flours, garlic, and salt together

  3. Dip the shrimp in the egg them the flour mixture

  4. I did multiple shrimp at once

  5. Heat a skillet over low medium heat

  6. Add a generous amount of oil

  7. I used avocado oil

  8. Then add the shrimp

  9. I did two batches

  10. Cook for 3-4 minutes, flip, add a little more oil and cook until they’re browned

  11. Add to a bowl and let them cool for a few minutes
