Chocolate Orange Overnight Oats with Granola

Ingredients

  • 60g jumbo oats
  • 35g vegan chocolate orange protein powder
  • 150ml unsweetened almond milk
  • 5g maca powder
  • 15g liquid choc shot
  • 40g almond milk yogurt
  • 10g dark chocolate shards
  • 5g cacao nibs
  • 20g ginger and orange granola
  • 80g banana, sliced
  • orange, sliced

Granola mix

  • 2 1/2 cups jumbo oats
  • 2/3 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/3 cup coconut flakes
  • 1 tablespoon shelled hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 2-3 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • zest of 1-2 oranges
  • 2/3 cup zero cal maple syrup
  • 1/8 cup fresh orange juice

Preparation

  1. Mix the protein powder, maca powder and almond milk together.

  2. Pour the mixture over the oats and mix well.

  3. Store in the fridge for 6-8 hours or preferably overnight in an airtight container.

  4. In the morning, top with the remaining ingredients.

Granola method

  1. Preheat the oven to 135 Celsius.

  2. Mix together the dry ingredients before adding in the wet ingredients.

  3. Mix well and spread evenly on a lined baking tray and cook for 30-40 minutes until golden.

  4. Once cooled, store in an airtight container for 2-3 weeks.
