Oat Nut Cinnamon No Bake Granola Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups toasted gluten free jumbo oats
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup agave syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup water

Preparation

Method

  1. Put the oats in a dry pan over a medium heat and toast for a few minutes. Make sure to keep moving them around so they don’t burn. This step is optional but I love the toasted flavour it gives the oats.

  2. Put the peanut butter in a microwaveable dish and microwave for 30 seconds.

  3. Put all the ingredients in a big bowl and mix well.

  4. Line a loaf tin with parchment paper and press the mixture firmly into it.

  5. Set in the fridge for about 20 minutes before slicing into bars.

Storage tips

  1. These keep beautifully in the fridge or freezer and are perfect for a quick breakfast or pre workout snack.
