Carrot Cake Inspired Breakfast Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 50 g whole grain rolled oats
- 250 ml water or milk of choice
- Pinch of salt
- 1 grated carrot
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- Additional grated carrots
- Chopped walnuts
- 1 tablespoon honey or other sweetener
Preparation
Mix the oats, water or milk, salt, and 1 grated carrot in a pan and cook until all liquid is absorbed.
Stir in 1 tablespoon of cinnamon.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl.
Top with additional grated carrots and chopped walnuts.
Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of honey or your preferred sweetener. For a vegan option, use maple syrup or another vegan sweetener.
