Black Bean Brownie

Ingredients

  • Brownie
  • 1 can (250g) black beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 5 tbsp flour of choice (I used oat flour)
  • 6-7 tbsp liquid sweetener
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Frosting
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 2 tbsp liquid sweetener
  • A few tbsp plant milk

Preparation

  1. Blend all the ingredients together. Pour the dough into a small baking trail and bake at 350F for 15-20 minutes. Let it cool before spreading the frosting on top

  2. Soak your cashews for 1 hour in hot water

  3. Then blend all the ingredients together

  4. Add more sweetener or milk to get the best flavor and creamy consistency

  5. To make the green color I added 1 tsp spirulina, and to make the yellow color I used turmeric
