Chocolate and Cardamom Overnight Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • Seeds from 1 cardamom pod
  • Small handful mixed seeds
  • 1 cup plant-based milk
  • 1/2 cup plant-based milk
  • Granola
  • Berries
  • Fruit
  • Chocolate drizzle

Preparation

  1. Before bed, in a pan, add the oats, cacao powder, cardamom seeds, and mixed seeds.

  2. Pour over 1 cup plant-based milk, stir, cover, and leave to soak overnight.

  3. In the morning, add 1/2 cup more plant-based milk.

  4. Heat slowly over the hob, stirring continuously.

  5. Spoon into a bowl and add granola, berries, fruit, and chocolate drizzle.
