Homemade Vegan Snickers Bars

Ingredients

Base layer

  • 4 dl oats
  • 2 dl cashews
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 10 dates
  • A sprinkle of salt

Peanut layer

  • 2 dl salty peanuts
  • 0.5 dl coconut milk
  • 0.5 dl agave syrup
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

Chocolate layer

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

Preparation

  1. Blend the cashews and oats in a food processor.

  2. Add the peanut butter, cacao powder, dates, and a sprinkle of salt and blend until a dough forms. Press the dough into a form.

  3. Spread the salty peanuts evenly over the dough.

  4. In a pot, combine coconut milk, agave syrup, and peanut butter; stir on medium heat until melted. Pour the sauce over the peanuts and dough.

  5. Place in the freezer for a few hours or overnight.

  6. Melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together in a pot.

  7. Cut the frozen mixture into bars and dip them in the melted chocolate.

  8. Allow the chocolate to harden, then enjoy.

Tips

  1. Store the snickers bars in the freezer.
