Chocolate and Caramel Bars
Ingredients
Bottom layer
- 2 dl oats
- 2 dl cashews
- 2 tbsp chocolate fudge protein powder
- 8 dates
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 0.5 dl water
Middle layer
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 2 tbsp agave syrup
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp salted caramel protein powder
- Pinch of salt
Top layer
- 100 g dark chocolate
- Sprinkle of sea salt
Preparation
In a food processor, add oats and cashews and blend.
Then add the rest of the ingredients for the bottom layer and mix until you have a dough.
Press the dough into a form and set aside.
In a bowl, add the ingredients for the middle layer and put in the microwave for a few seconds, until the coconut oil is melted.
Add the caramel sauce on top of the bottom layer and put in the freezer.
When the middle layer has hardened, add melted chocolate on top and a pinch of sea salt.
Put back in the freezer.
When the chocolate has hardened, cut into pieces and enjoy.
Tips
If you don't have protein powders with these flavors, use cacao powder instead and add some vanilla for the middle layer.
