Homemade No-Bake Caramel Bars

Ingredients

Nut base

  • 100 g cashews
  • 20 g coconut flakes
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 80 g oats or oat flour
  • 1 tablespoon water

Caramel filling

  • Caramel sauce

Chocolate coating

  • 70 g dark chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Preparation

  1. Mix the oats and cashews finely in a blender, then stir everything together in a bowl.

  2. Line a rectangular container with aluminum foil or plastic wrap and press the mixture in 0.5 cm thick.

  3. Fill the nut base with caramel sauce, using about 2-3 tablespoons.

  4. Place the container with the nut base and caramel sauce back in the freezer.

  5. Melt the chocolate over a water bath and mix with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, then spread it as the last layer over the caramel sauce.

  6. Freeze everything for at least 1 hour, then remove from the container and cut into bars.
