Italian Sautéed Peppers and Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 kg peppers
  • 1 kg potatoes
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Optional additions

  • herbs
  • chili pepper
  • olives
  • capers

Preparation

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into wedges.

  2. Remove the seeds from the peppers and cut them into strips.

  3. Heat oil in a pan and let it flavor with two garlic cloves. Remove them when golden.

  4. Add the potatoes and, right after, the peppers. Cook at medium heat for 20 minutes. Season with salt.

Tips

  1. If desired, add herbs, chili pepper, olives, or capers.
