Marinated Tempeh with Cauliflower Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 blocks of tempeh
  • 1/3 cup avocado oil
  • 2 tablespoons tamari sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon mushroom blend
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • cauliflower
  • vegan butter
  • garlic
  • salt
  • black sesame seeds

Preparation

  1. Marinate the tempeh with the marinade ingredients for at least 30 minutes.

  2. Cook the marinated tempeh on a hot skillet for a couple of minutes.

  3. Process cauliflower in a food processor until it resembles rice.

  4. Cook the cauliflower rice with a bit of vegan butter, garlic, and salt.

  5. Garnish the dish with black sesame seeds.
