Baked Cauliflower Sticky Bites
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon spring onion for garnishing
- 1/2 small chili, sliced thinly for garnishing
Chilli sauce
- 3 teaspoons sweet chilli sauce
- 3 teaspoons maple syrup
- 3 teaspoons tamari sauce
- 3 teaspoons balsamic sauce
Preparation
In a bowl, add the flour, paprika, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, then add the water and combine.
Place the cauliflower florets in the prepared batter and coat well, then arrange them on a tray lined with parchment paper and bake at 180°C for 20 minutes, and set aside.
In a bowl, prepare the chilli sauce by adding sweet chilli sauce, maple syrup, tamari sauce, and balsamic sauce, and combine them.
Add the cooked cauliflower to the sauce and coat well, then place them back on parchment paper and bake for a further 20 minutes at 180°C.
