Low FODMAP Decadent Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients
- 1 pack of plain organic tofu
- 1/3 cup of raw cacao powder
- 1/3 cup of pure maple syrup
Caramel sauce
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp macadamia or cashew butter
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
Optional toppings
- extra sprinkled cacao and berries
Preparation
Blend the tofu, cacao powder and syrup together until smooth and set aside.
Gently heat the rest of the ingredients in a small pan until melted.
Once melted, stir in 4 tbsp of the sauce into the mousse.
Pour the mousse into two ramekins and leave to set in the fridge, preferably overnight.
Drizzle the remaining sauce over the top upon serving along with any toppings.
