Winter Citrus Salad with Vitamin C Power

Ingredients

  • 1 large grapefruit
  • 1 medium orange (such as Cara Cara or Blood oranges)
  • 2 clementines or tangerines
  • 1/2 fennel bulb
  • 1/2 avocado
  • Optional: walnuts or almonds (as a substitute for avocado)
  • Optional: few sprigs of fresh mint and/or dill
  • Fresh crushed black pepper
  • Optional: lemon juice

Preparation

  1. Dice the fruits and vegetables.

  2. Place them in a bowl.

  3. Top with lemon juice and fresh crushed black pepper.

  4. Enjoy!
