Best Pineapple Coconut Margarita

Ingredients

  • 3 oz tequila
  • 1 oz orange liqueur
  • 6 oz unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 3 oz coconut milk
  • 1 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup or agave

Rim

  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp lime zest
  • 2 tbsp shredded coconut
  • Agave for rimming the glass

Preparation

  1. Stir together salt, sugar, lime zest and coconut. Dip the rim of each glass in agave, then coat in the coconut/lime zest mixture.

  2. Add tequila, orange liqueur, pineapple juice, coconut milk, lime juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice. Shake well for at least 10 seconds.

  3. Strain into rimmed cocktail glasses filled with crushed ice.
