Frozen Spicy Lemonade Margaritas

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Natalie’s margarita mix
  • 1 cup Natalie’s natural lemonade
  • 1 cup tequila

Jalapeño syrup

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 jalapeños, sliced

Preparation

  1. Pour the margarita juice into an ice cube tray of choice.

  2. Place in the freezer until solid.

  3. In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and jalapeño. Bring the mixture to a rolling simmer over medium-high heat and cook, stirring frequently, until the sugar has completely dissolved.

  4. Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue simmering, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool for at least 30 minutes.

  5. Once cool, strain syrup into a small bowl. Discard jalapeño peppers. Set syrup aside to cool.

  6. When the margarita juice is frozen, combine the frozen margarita juice, lemonade, 1/2 cup jalapeño syrup, and 1 cup tequila into the blender.

  7. Blend until smooth.

  8. Pour and enjoy.
