Choc Cherry Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 heaped tbsp cacao powder
  • boiling water

Preparation

  1. Cup oats & 1 heaped tbsp cacao powder, cover in boiling water from the kettle and stir over a medium heat

  2. The cacao and oats soak up a lot of water, add a small handful of fresh or frozen cherries- just keep adding water as it’s absorbed and the oats are cooked

  3. In a small frying pan - I cooked a few frozen cherries to put on the top. Once in a bowl spoon over almond butter, dark melted chocolate (100% cacao on the go at the min) cherries, chopped almonds and cacao nibs. It’s so good and the sweetness provided by the cherries is perfect
