Choc Chip Coconut Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 medium green banana (freeze prior for thicker consistency)
  • 1/4 ripe Hass avocado (FODMAP-friendly serving)
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream, chilled
  • 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
  • 1 drop natural vanilla essence
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup filtered water

Optional

  • 1 tablespoon maple or rice malt syrup for added sweetness
  • desiccated coconut and raw cacao nibs for topping

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blitz on the highest speed, working your way up gradually, for 1 minute

  2. Pour into 1 or 2 glasses depending on desired serving size

  3. Top with extra desiccated coconut and cacao nibs
