Chocolate Chip Coconut Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 large ripe banana
- 1/4 ripe Hass avocado
- 1/2 cup canned organic coconut cream, chilled
- 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 1 drop of natural vanilla essence
- pinch of cinnamon
- 3/4 cup of filtered water
Optional
- 1 tbsp maple or rice malt syrup for added sweetness
- desiccated coconut and raw cacao nibs for topping
Preparation
If desired, peel and freeze the banana in advance for a thicker consistency.
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.
Blend on high speed, gradually increasing, for 1 minute.
Pour into one or two glasses depending on serving size.
Top with extra desiccated coconut and cacao nibs if using.
