Chocolate Chip Coconut Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 large ripe banana
- 1/4 ripe Hass avocado (FODMAP-friendly serving)
- 1/2 cup canned organic coconut cream, chilled
- 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 1 drop of natural vanilla essence
- pinch of cinnamon
- 3/4 cup of filtered water
- Optional: 1 tbsp maple or rice malt syrup for added sweetness
- Optional: desiccated coconut & raw cacao nibs for topping
Preparation
Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blitz on the highest speed, working your way up gradually, for 1 minute.
Pour into one or two glasses depending on desired serving size.
Top with extra desiccated coconut and cacao nibs.
Tips
This smoothie is great when frozen and removed from the freezer 5 minutes prior to serving for a refreshing treat.
It provides plant-based fats and nutrients like potassium, magnesium, and antioxidants for better mood and energy.
